Oriental Vase in oak frame

Oriental Vase

Oriental Vase Art Print. Painted with gouache and aquarelle, Oriental Vase is infused with Charlotte’s love for adventure and her deep connection to the natural world. The artwork blooms with lush greens, coral tones, and wild patterns, leopards moving softly among lilies, leaves curling like whispers of the jungle.

The palette leans tropical, but the composition stays clean and airy, where oriental richness meets a Nordic sense of space. The result is an exotic yet subtle balance; a piece that feels both vivid and serene, expressive yet refined.

The painting draws inspiration from Charlotte’s journeys as a young single mother, backpacking with her little son through the humid rainforests of Brazil, Bolivia, Borneo, Guatemala, Mexico, and Belize. Together they wandered on a shoestring budget, guided by curiosity and a shared sense of wonder.

This piece is an ode to wandering hearts and untamed places — to jungles alive with color and sound, to the kindness of strangers, and to the joy of seeing the world with open, adventurous eyes.
